In my project, I have developed a few ideas that could help America to once again be a top innovative country. I have compared my ideas with the ideas of the current American president and the two candidates for the job. To ensure that America remains the world leader in innovation, I would suggest these policies on which American government should focus:1) Science EducationSpecialized technological science education for all K-12 students. A government loan will be available for students who continue this course of study in collage or universities, but cannot afford the cost. This loan will be repaid when these students enter the workforce.2) Investing into scienceThe American government should not be afraid to invest in science institutions like NASA or the Silicon Valley. These and many other institutions are among the most distinguished and are known by respected scientists all over the world. I think they are responsible for a great deal of American innovation. Funds should be invested directly to technology and the training of the employees of these institutions.3) Importance of technologyStudents pursuing an education in science must have access to high speed internet and other innovative technology. |
